Birdies After Dark is a 4-week individual stroke play competition at Birdies & Lattes — built for the golfer who plays outside all summer and wants to keep competing when the sun goes down. The most accessible way to play golf in Edison. Community, competition, and real cash prizes.

How It Works
Step 01
Register
Sign up at Birdies & Lattes or online. Individual registration — no team needed. Cap is 32 players.
Step 02
Play Your Round
Come in any day during your league week. Play 18 holes on the simulator. Staff witnesses your score or you submit a screenshot.
Step 03
Follow the Leaderboard
Scores are logged weekly. After Weeks 1 & 2, the top 8 advance to Semi-Finals. Top 4 go to Finals.
Step 04
Finals Night
Aug 16 — in-person Finals event. Champion crowned, prizes awarded, season celebrated.

FAQs
The Summer 2026 season runs 4 weeks: July 20 – August 16. Weeks 1 & 2 are regular season, Week 3 is semi-finals (top 8 advance), Week 4 is the in-person Finals. Kickoff (Jul 20) and Finals (Aug 16) are mandatory in-person events.
The league is open to everyone — any person age 13 and up. No prior league experience or handicap required. All skill levels welcome. You register individually — no team needed.
Registration opens June 15. Click the "Register Now" button at the top of this page or visit Birdies & Lattes in-venue. The player cap is 32 — spots are first come, first served.
Yes — register between June 15–21 and pay only $112.50 (10% off the $125 standard rate). Par/Birdie members always receive the $112.50 rate. Eagle members pay $106.25 year-round.
Come into Birdies & Lattes any day during your league week. Play 18 holes on the simulator using individual stroke play. A staff member witnesses your score, or you can submit a simulator screenshot for verification. Scores are then logged on the leaderboard.
With only 4 weeks in the season, every round matters. Players who don't complete their round before the week closes will not have a score logged for that week, which affects their leaderboard standing. We recommend playing early in the week when possible.
Individual stroke play — lowest score wins. Your score each week is your 18-hole gross score. Cumulative scores after Weeks 1 & 2 determine the top 8 players advancing to Semi-Finals. The top 4 from Semi-Finals compete at the in-person Finals on August 16.

Absolutely. The Birdies Golf League is accessible to first-time league players. Our staff will walk you through everything at the Kickoff event on July 20.
